Brian Vincent
Executive Chairman
Brian brings over 25 years of extensive management experience building software, hardware and wireless telecommunications companies globally and has held both board positions and served in an advisory capacity with more than a dozen Northwest companies.
Previously, Brian was managing director of venture investments for Vulcan Capital. Vulcan Capital, the private investment group of Vulcan, Inc., was founded by Paul G. Allen in 1986. Prior to joining Vulcan, Brian served as chairman, president and CEO of Quintessent Communications, Inc., a venture-backed software company providing enterprise-level products and services to the telecommunications industry, and acquired by American Management Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:AMSY).
Brian also served as president and managing director of Asia Pacific for Nextel International (NASDAQ:NIHD). As a member of the original management team, he was responsible for all wireless investments in the region. Prior to his role with Nextel, Brian was vice president of worldwide marketing operations for Intermec Technologies Corporation. As the company's chief marketing officer, he was responsible for launching more than 40 new products and numerous line extensions to world markets. Brian began his career with Control Data Corporation.
Brian graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in political economics and received his MBA from the University of Washington.
