A member of the OVP Venture Partners Investing Team, Chad brings more than 24 years of experience in both the management and investment sides of emerging growth companies. Chad joined OVP Venture Partners in 1987 and has served on the boards of such leading companies as Accelerator, Airgo Networks, GenoLogics, NanoString, and Verity. OVP Venture Partners focuses on investments in new companies in growing markets—enterprise software, communications and network systems, computational biology, specialized electronic systems and business services.

Prior to joining OVP Venture, Chad held the position of General Partner at Hambrecht & Quist Venture Partners. Previously, Chad served in marketing and sales management roles at Cobe Laboratories, Inc. within its cardiovascular medical products division.

Chad is also a board member at the Washington Technology Alliance and the NVCA. Chad also serves as a trustee at Kenyon College and as a member of OHSU (Oregon Health Sciences University), BSIF Advisory Board. Chad holds a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree in history from Kenyon College.
