As the former vice president of Global Product Support for Oracle Corporation, Tarek supervised a global organization comprised of 3,500 employees in 55 countries worth more than $4.7 billion in revenue. Under his leadership, product support profit margins increased by more than $400 million annually. He also successfully streamlined operations at Oracle through automation, globalization, and consolidation practices.

Tarek is a veteran software executive who has held numerous senior management positions over the course of a 20-year career in the technology industry. He has blended his unique vision and technical expertise to transform start-up companies into innovative, successful businesses.

Prior to joining Oracle, Tarek served as the founder, chairman, and CEO of Datacme Corporation, where he oversaw the development of products that automate the creation and building of J2EE mission-critical applications.

Previously, Tarek helped leading TenFold Corporation from a five-employee start-up to become a dominant $2-billion company. His earlier experience includes five years in leadership roles at IBM's research centers, and software engineering positions at several international companies. Tarek holds a Ph.D. in computer science and engineering.
