SafeHarbor Names John Albert Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Extensive U.K. experience a plus as customer-service outsourcer SafeHarbor signs its first European customers
Satsop, Wash. (January 23, 2001) SafeHarbor Technology Corporation, a world leader in Web-based customer support, today announced the appointment of John Albert as executive vice president of worldwide sales. In his new position, Albert will be responsible for guiding the global sales strategy during SafeHarbor's expansion into Europe and other international markets.
The appointment brings strategic direction to SafeHarbor's sales efforts as it continues to attract companies such as Seattle, Wash.-based Loudeye Technologies Inc.; Newton, Mass.-based TimeTo, a venture of Scudder Kemper Investments' i-Scudder group; and the state of Washington with its innovative, Web-based customer support.

Albert was most recently vice president of sales at Seattle-based CapitalStream Inc., a provider of e-commerce solutions for the commercial finance market. Prior to CapitalStream, Albert played a major role in developing domestic and international markets for Redmond, Wash.-based CRM provider Mosaix Inc. (now Avaya Communication), where he held the positions of regional vice president, managing director/United Kingdom and director of enterprise customer management. Albert is a graduate of Washington State University.
