News Releases Annette M. Jacobs — SafeHarbor Technology Corporation President and CEO — Named to WSA Board of Directors

Seattle, Wash. January 26, 2005 — The WSA (formerly the Washington Software Alliance), the state's oldest and largest technology trade association, named Annette Jacobs, President and CEO of SafeHarbor Technology Corporation, to its board of directors, SafeHarbor Technology announced today.

The 34-member board provides strategic direction for the WSA to ensure its continued sharing of industry expertise, delivery of key business services, and the advocacy of issues necessary to keep Washington a leader in the digital economy.

"The WSA is pleased to have an executive of Annette Jacobs' stature join the WSA board," said Kathy Wilcox, WSA CEO. "Annette brings to the WSA board deep leadership experience and strategic thinking expertise that will be invaluable as we launch the WSA's '3rd Decade.'"

Jacobs brings more than 25 years of business savvy — particularly in high-growth businesses, operational turnarounds and acquisitions — to the WSA board. Since Jacobs' foray into the technology industry, when she joined SafeHarbor in early 2004, she has led SafeHarbor to achieve a 100 percent customer renewal rate, see double digit revenue growth, secure two Fortune 25 clients, and develop a forward-thinking strategy that addresses and remedies the unmet promises of the customer relationship management (CRM) industry.

"It's exciting to be a part of the vibrant technology community here in Washington," said Jacobs. "As the CEO of a burgeoning technology company, I understand the importance of the industry's continued growth to the economic health of the state; the education needed to expand our qualified workforce; and the continued research necessary to drive new product development. The thought leadership that WSA provides to the Washington technology industry is tremendous, and I'm pleased to be a part of it as a board member."
