News Releases SafeHarbor Appoints Dr. Tarek El-Sadany and Barbara P. Peda to Board of Directors
Veterans in high-tech and telecom bring extensive global customer support and product management expertise

Seattle, Wash. — September 7, 2005 — SafeHarbor Technology Corporation, a leading provider of Web-based customer interaction and business intelligence services, today announced the appointment of Dr. Tarek El-Sadany and Barbara P. Peda to its Board of Directors. Their appointment brings senior level technology and product development expertise to SafeHarbor as it continues to accelerate its leadership position in Web self-service and customer support analytics.

Dr. El-Sadany is a veteran technology executive who has held numerous senior management positions over his 20-year career. Most recently, El-Sadany served as Vice President of Global Product Support with Oracle Corporation. Under his leadership, product support profit margins increased by more than $400 million annually. El-Sadany has also blended his unique vision and technical expertise to transform start-up companies into innovative, successful companies. Before joining Oracle, he led TenFold Corporation from a five-employee start-up to become a dominant $2 billion company. He will provide SafeHarbor with valuable guidance in strengthening product development and assist in positioning SafeHarbor as a dominant player in worldwide customer support solutions.

Ms. Peda, a veteran telecommunications industry executive, has had a broad base of experience in marketing, sales, product management and operations over a 24 year career with AT&T. Most recently as a senior vice president, she was responsible for marketing and product development in support of the global business services market including the introduction of emerging technology-based products, managed services and customer contact integration capabilities. In addition, Peda led the AT&T Service Provider Markets unit to an industry leading position. Her formidable skills in seizing growth opportunities will benefit SafeHarbor's ongoing efforts to build brand voice for increasing sophisticated customer support needs.
